I've been browsing a lot through the amazing art here on DA lately (too much perhaps...) and a question popped up in my mind: "Aren't artworks without lineart (those that look 'painterly') kinda awesome?"
I've always been working in an anime-like style with slightly more elaborate coloring and to be honest haven't really thought about doing actual paintings.
So my question to you is twofold:
a) do you think that colored art with lineart or painted art without lineart are more awesum?
b) would you like me to try the "painting-style" in the future or stick to my current style?
I'm still officially on hiatus, but maybe I'll have a lot of time on my hands one of these days and I'd like to know what I should do then X3
